Who is coming?
This camp is open to anyone who is in the scout section and above on the 23rd July 2022. If group leaders are not able to attend but their scouts/explorers would like to please contact the organising team and they will find a group to temporarily “adopt” them for the camp.
Accommodation
We will be staying in the campsite located within the centre grounds. Groups will provide their own tents for their members. There will also be communal tents for the whole camp.
Catering
We will be fully catered by the centre (subject to change). Please let us know of any dietary requirements as soon as you can.
Programme
Programme will include international activities, high adventure activities and ecological activities.
Participants will pick activities from a list and put them in order of preference. Organising team will then collect all the information and organise programme based on availability, group size, age and ability.
August 1st is Swiss National Day and the anniversary of Baden Powell’s first Scout camp and the centre puts on a day full of activities that all members will enjoy. In the evening there will be a massive international BBQ and a parade through the village followed by a bonfire and fireworks in the evening.
Travel
Coach. Everyone attending will need a valid passport for the camp.
Price
£700.
A £50 deposit will be required by the 1st October 2021.
A payment plan will be released stating when instalments should be paid by.
Fees can be paid by cash, cheque or BACs transfer.
Fundraising
Groups can organise their own fundraising to help their own members. There will 1 or 2 major fundraising events held for all members to attend.
